This was about 87.32% of their total company revenue. The rest came from their ad-supported revenue. The amount was about $1.84 billion. In 2022 the ad-supported segment was around $1.62 billion. Since Spotify is a publicly traded company they have market shares. In the music streaming industry they have 31.7% market share. According to data of the 713.4 million people with music streaming subscriptions about 226 million are subscribed to Spotify. This data is from the third quarter of 2023. During the last five years Spotify had over a third of the market shares. And in 2019 it was the highest at 34%. Currently about 40 million Spotify users listen to podcasts at least once in the USA.
